I created this recipe for dinner one evening when I wanted to do something different with a pound of ground beef. It turned out so well my husband said I should put it on just a pinch. In his words, it's very tasty.

Ingredients For taco pasta

1 lbground beef
-
1/2onion, diced
-
1/3 cgreen pepper, diced

1jalepeno, diced

1 tspchili powder

1 1/2 tspcumin
-
1 tspgarlic powder

1 canblack beans, drained
-
1 cancorn, drained
-
1 candiced tomatoes with green chilis

1/2 tspliquid smoke flavoring

2/3 cwater
-
1 lbpasta (i used fusilli)

1/2 csour cream
-
2 cvelveeta cheese, cubed
-
4 sliceamerican cheese
-
1/2 cshredded cheddar

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make taco pasta

1Boil pasta per package directions and drain well.

2Brown ground beef with onions and peppers. Add seasonings and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.

3Stir in tomatoes, beans and corn,sour cream, velveeta and american cheese. Simmer till cheese is melted.

4Add pasta to hamburger mix. Stir until mixed. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and serve.
