Blue Ribbon Recipe

This taco dip might not be beautiful when served, but after trying it, guests will fall in love. Adding taco seasoning to the browned ground beef starts the layers of flavors in this dip. Salsa adds a kick of flavor and balances the richness of the meat. Sour cream and cheese add a creamy texture. In every bite, there's a medley of flavors and texture - creamy, savory, zesty, and cheesy.

How To Make taco dip

  • Browning ground beef.

Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain. directions.
  • Taco seasoning added to ground beef.
    2
Add taco seasoning and water. Cook according to the package.
  • Ground beef poured into a baking dish.
    3
In a 13x9 dish, spread out taco meat.
  • Salsa spread over the ground beef.
    4
Pour salsa all over the top of the meat and spread out.
  • Sour cream spread over the salsa.

Repeat with sour cream. Sour cream is a little harder to spread without making a mess, so I usually drop spoonfuls all over and then spread it the best as I can.
  • Shredded cheese sprinkled over the sour cream.
    6
Top with the shredded cheese. Serve immediately with chips.
