This is a recipe I submitted for a fundraiser, for a cookbook our women's group sold in 1986. I believe we used the profits to remodel the nursery. A point to be made about church cookbooks, as many of you already know, some of the finest cooks are church women! HERE, HERE!

Ingredients For taco casserole

1 lbground beef
-
2 pkgtaco seasoning mix

1 tspsalt

1 tsppepper
-
38 ounce cans tomato sauce

2 canranch style beans
-
110 ounce package corn chips

1 lbcheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make taco casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef, drain. Add taco seasoning, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and Ranch Style beans. Cook for 10 minutes. Layer chips, ground beef mixture and cheese alternately in a 9x13" baking dish sprayed with PAM, ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
