This is such an easy and tasty swiss steak and the gravy is very good over mashed potatoes or rice.

Ingredients For swiss steak

1 - 1/2 lbround steak, tenderized

1 smgreen pepper, cut into strips

1 smonion, cut into rings

1 cangolden mushroom soup (do not substitute)

1#2 can tomatoes
How To Make swiss steak

1Cut steak into squares; flour, salt and pepper. Brown in a skillet with little oil. Mix the soup and tomatoes together and pour over the meat; add onion rings and bell pepper strips on top. Cook about an hour on very low or until steak is tender. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

2This could be baked in the oven at 300 degrees for about 2 - 2/12 hours or in a crock pot. I baked this in the oven for about 2 1/2 hours.
