This meat load always turns out the same every time. This is easy and quick. I usually double the topping recipe because the sauce is so so good.

Ingredients For sweet n sour meat loaf

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • ( i use italian crumbs)
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    dehydrated onions
  • 8 oz
    can tomato sauce

How To Make sweet n sour meat loaf

  • 1
    Mix all together - form into a loaf
    Bake@ 350 for 50 minutes.
    Do not use a loaf pan -
    you want room for sauce

    Topping
    8 oz can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. prepared yellow mustard

    Bring to a boil - pour over meat and bake additional 10 minutes.

    I usually double the topping recipe because we like lots of sauce.
    I also put a little of it on top before I start baking it.
