Ingredients For swedish meatballs with buttered noodles

1 cseasoned bread crumbs

1 mdonion, chopped

2eggs,slightly beaten

1/3 cparsley, minced

1 tspcoarsely ground pepper

3/4 tspsalt
- ABOVE FOR MEATBALLS
- FOR GRAVY

1/2 call purpose flour
-
1 1/2 c2% milk
-
1 ccream
-
2 can1 0z each of beef consomme, undiluted

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 tspcoarsely ground pepper
-
1/4 tspsalt
- FOR NOODLES
-
1 pkg16 oz egg noodles
-
1/4 ccubed butter
-
1/4 cminced parsley
How To Make swedish meatballs with buttered noodles

1For meatballs: n large bowl, mix first six ingredients. Then add beef and mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape meat into 1 and 1/2 inch balls (about 36) and lightly brown, do not burn, in a skillet. With a slotted sppon, place meatballs on paper towel to drain.

2For gravy: Stir flour into drippings and cook until lightly brown.Gradually whisk into mixture cream and milk. Stir in consomme, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cook and stir about 2 minutes until thickened. Add meatballs and continue to cook 15 to 20 minutes more until meatballs are cooked through, stirring occasionally.

3Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and toss with the cubed butter. Put in a large bowl, and place meatball and gravy mixture on top of the buttered noodles, sprinkle with parsley and serve
