Ingredients For supreme roast beef

    onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4-5 tsp
    coarsely ground black pepper
  • 4-5 lb
    rump roast
  • 6
    bay leaves

How To Make supreme roast beef

  • 1
    Place in a greased roasting pan. Rub worcesterdhire sauce and pepper over the roast. Place over the onion; top with bay leaves. Cover and bake at 325 degrees2 1/4 hours or until meat reaches desired doneness. Discard bay leaves. Let stand for 10-15 minutes before carving. Thicken pan juices if desired. Makes 8 servings.
