Have been making this recipe for several years. Everyone raves over it, so hope you will like it as well. This basically is a meat loaf but stuffed into peppers. Very easy and quick.

Ingredients For stuffed peppers

4bell peppers (any color or mix)

1 lbextra lean ground beef or ground turkey

1 smonion, chopped

1/2 tspsalt and pepper

1 tspbasil, dried

1/2 cparsley flakes
-
3/4 coatmeal (quick) or cracker crumbs crushed

1 smcan tomato sauce
-
1egg, beaten
- SMALL CAN OF TOMATOES CAN BE USED ALSO. DON'T WANT MEAT MIXURE TOO SOGGY
How To Make stuffed peppers

1cut tops off peppers. What pepper flesh is cut, can be chopped and added to meat mixture. Clean out seeds and menbrane inside peppers. Place in a back dish

2Mix ground meet with remaining ingredients. Mix well. Stuff meat into each pepper. Bake at 350 degrees till meat is done.

3Note: you can add rice if so desired. This can be leftover rice about 1 cup into meat mixture or 1/2 cup instant rice.
