Ingredients For stuffed green peppers

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 4
    green peppers
  • 2 can
    8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1
    small onion
  • minute rice - follow box directions to make 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make stuffed green peppers

  • 1
    Cut peppers in half lengthwise, clean out seeds, wash.
  • 2
    Combine 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce, uncooked hamburger, chopped onion, cooked rice, and salt and pepper to taste. Use this mixture to stuff the green pepper halves.

    Place in a 9 x 13 baking pan with just a bit of water in the bottom. Top peppers with the rest of the tomato sauce and the shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
