I came up with this recipe for the mountain state fair beef competition a couple years ago. Although I didn't win with it, it was a big hit with my family

Ingredients For stuffed cubed steak

  • 4-6
    pieces of cube steak
  • sliced black forest ham
  • 4-6
    slices of colby jack cheese
  • 1-2
    tubes of ritz crackers crushed
  • 2
    eggs lightly beated
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make stuffed cubed steak

  • 1
    Take cube steak place a piece of colby jack cheese and a couple of slices of ham on top of steak. Fold steak with cheese and ham inside
  • 2
    Dip steak in egg and then roll in cracker crumbs. Place in a 9x13 baking dish. Repeat with remaining steaks

    Bake at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 and 15 minutes until done.
