My mom always made this for us when I was growing up. I love cabbage, she made this dish during bad weather days. Especially on her bread making days with hot Parker House Rolls. Of which I carried on the tradition.

Ingredients For stuffed cabbage rolls

12 lgcabbage leaves

1 1/4 lbground round or pork

2 tspsea salt

1/2 tsppepper
-
1 crice (cooked)

1 smonion (chopped)

1 lgegg
-
1/2 tsppoultry seasoning or thyme

2 Tbspwesson oil
-
2 cantomato sauce
-
1 Tbspbrown sugar, lightly packed

1 Tbspapple cider vinegar
-
1/4 ccold water
How To Make stuffed cabbage rolls

1Place cabbage leaves in bowl and cover with boiling water let stand 5 minutes while preparing other ingredients.

2Combine the next 7 ingredients. Place equal portions in the center of each leaf. Fold sides of leaf roll up and fasten with toothpick or string.

3Brown Cabbage rolls in hot, very large skillet. Pour in tomato sauce, combine sugar, vinegar,and water. Pour half of the sauce on the bottom and place cabbage rolls in sauce, then pour the rest on top. Cover and Simmer 1 hour basting occasionally. Serve Hot.....
