I came up with this recipe after eating something similar at a meal we had at work. It became one of Seth's favorite meals.

Ingredients For stuffed beef tenderloin

  • 1
    whole beef tenderloin
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    lawry's seasoning salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    tony chachere;s seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 4 oz
    yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    margarine, softened
  • 1 lb
    bacon
  • 2 tsp
    dehydrated onion flakes
  • 3 Tbsp
    green onions, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    jalapeno pepper juice

How To Make stuffed beef tenderloin

  • 1
    Split the tenderloin down the middle, but not all the way through.

    Combine the cream cheese with the seasonings, vegetables, and jalapeno pepper juice.

    Sprinkle the inside of the tenderloin with Tony's seasoning; then stuff with cream cheese mixture.

    Rub outside of tenderloin with the yellow mustard. Wrap in bacon slices. Secure with toothpicks. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours or until done.
