Ingredients For steakhouse casserole

  • 3 lb
    small red potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp
    sea salt mixed with black pepper
  • 1 c
    crumbled bacon bits
  • 2 Tbsp
    avocado oil
  • 2 lb
    cubed beef stew meat
  • 2 Tbsp
    steak seasoning
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    steak sauce mixed with brown sugar
  • 1 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese,softened
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey mustard
  • 1 jar
    processed cheese sauce
  • 8 oz
    sharp cheddar cheese,shredded
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced chives

How To Make steakhouse casserole

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat the sides and bottom of 8-quart baking dish with cooking spray.

    Add red potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain, cool, and cut into quartered on each potatoes.

    Place quartered red potatoes in a prepared baking dish. Season with sea salt/black pepper and add bacon bits; mix well.

    Heat avocado oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add cubed beef stew meat, cook, and saute for 7 minutes until is no longer pink.

    Stir in steak seasoning, garlic powder, and steak sauce/brown sugar. Remove from heat and set aside.

    In a large bowl combine heavy whipping cream, milk, cream cheese, honey mustard, and processed cheese sauce; whisk together for 3 minutes until completely blended.

    Pour into red potato mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly. Add the cubed beef mixture on top.

    Sprinkle with shredded sharp cheddar cheese and minced chives. Cover with aluminum foil.

    Bake in preheated for 50 minutes; remove foil and continue baking until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned about 10 minutes.
