I adopted this recipe because I thought it sounded interesting. I took out some ingredients and added others, adjusting to suit my tastes through trial-and-error. The result is a savory Thai-inspired steak dinner that is company-worthy.

Ingredients For thai peanut sauce steaks

1/3 cpeanut butter, creamy

2 tspgarlic, minced

1/4 cbeef broth

2 Tbspsoy sauce

1 Tbspfresh lime juice

1 tspjalapeno pepper, diced

2 tspfresh ginger root, grated

1/2 tspsugar (i used splenda)

1/8 tspcayenne pepper

1/2 csour cream or plain yogurt

1 lbtop round steak, sliced in 1/4

1 ccooked rice

1green onion, thinly sliced
How To Make thai peanut sauce steaks

1In blender container, process peanut butter, garlic, broth, soy sauce, lime juice, jalapeno pepper, ginger, sugar and cayenne pepper until smooth. Place in medium skillet and stir in sour cream or yogurt. Heat this sauce over low heat. Do not boil.

2While sauce is heating, brown steak strips to desired state of doneness. Add steak strips to sauce mixture, heating through.

3Serve over rice, garnishing with sliced green onions. Enjoy!
