Ingredients For steak with blue cheese dressing

8 ozblue cheese, crumbled

1garlic clove, finely chopped

2 Tbspdry white wine

1 dashground red pepper

2 Tbspbutter

4 smnew york strip, 1 inch thick

1 dashfreshly ground black pepper

1/4 cwater

1parsley for garnish
How To Make steak with blue cheese dressing

1Cook and stir cheese, garlic, wine and red pepper over low heat, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted.

2Keep warm.

3Heat butter in 12-inch skillet until hot.

4Cook beef steaks over medium-high heat, turning once, until medium doneness, about 5 minutes on each side.

5Sprinkle with pepper.

6Remove from skillet and keep warm.

7Add water to skillet.

8Heat to boiling, stirring constantly to loosen browned bits.

9Boil 2 minutes.

10Stir pan juices into cheese mixture.

11Pour over steaks.
