This mushroom sauce compliments the steaks very well.

Ingredients For steak & mushrooms

4 (6 oz)beef tenderloins

1/2 tspkosher salt

1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/4 cshallot -- diced
-
1 (10 oz) pkgfresh mushrooms -- sliced

1 1/2 tspolive oil
-
1/4 cmarsala wine
-
1/4 cbeef broth
How To Make steak & mushrooms

1Season your meats on both sides with salt and pepper.

2Heat nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until very hot.

3Add steaks and cook 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness, turning steaks over once. Transfer steaks to platter; keep warm.

4Leave drippings in skillet, add oil and shallot, and cook 1 minute, stirring often. Add mushrooms and cook until liquid evaporates and mushroom mixture is golden. Stirring frequently. Add the Marsala and 1/4 cup beef broth; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Spoon mushroom sauce over steaks.
