Ingredients For steak and vegetables over rice

  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar,packed
  • 1/4 c
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3 clove
    whole garlic
  • dash basil
  • 2 1/2 lb
    beef top sirloin steak, cut bite size
  • 24
    grape tomatoes
  • 24
    button mushrooms
  • 1 lg
    green or red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 sm
    zucchini squash, cut in coins
  • 1 md
    onion, cut in wedges
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    instant potato buds
  • hot cooked rice for 10 servings

How To Make steak and vegetables over rice

    In a large resealable plastic freezer bag, combine first 7 ingredients; set aside. place all remaining ingredient into bag and seal. Turn bag to coat all meat and vegetables. Refrigerate overnight turning whenever possible. Discard whole cloves.

    In a large skillet with 3 Tablespoons of vegetable oil stir fry meat until cooked and browned on all sides. Add vegetables and stir fry until cooked through and tender. Add the marinade and thicken with the potato buds. Serve over rice.
