Ingredients For steak and cheese sandwiches with mushrooms

1 tspolive oil

2 csliced onions
-
2 cgreen peppers, cut into strips

2 tspminced garlic
-
1 cmushrooms, sliced

3/4 lbtop round steak, trimmed and cut into thin strips

1/4 tspsalt

1/8 tspblack pepper
-
2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
4 slicereduced-fat provolone cheese, cut in half

4sub rolls (hoagie rolls)
How To Make steak and cheese sandwiches with mushrooms

1In large non-stick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, bell pepper, and garlic; saute 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and saute 4 minutes longer.

2Sprinkle the beef strips with salt and pepper and add to skillet and saute until browned, about 3 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and saute 1 minute longer.

3On sub roll,(each cut into halves), place 1 cheese slice half and top with beef mixture. Top with remaining cheese half and the remaining sub halve. 10 points per serving.
