No special story. Started out with plain, browned hamburger meat, drained, added a can of Campbell Cheddar Cheese Soup. Ate cheeseburger soup at friends house, and it kinda grew from there. Her kids did not like spicey, my kids liked spicier, the better. I added some things. Forgiving recipe, play with it, find your own taste and favorite way to fix. Im sure everyone has their own favorite recipe.

Ingredients For spicy cheeseburger soup

1 1/2cup water,

1 1/2-2cups cubed poatoes

carrots grated, to taste

small onion chopped, to taste

1/4-1/2cup chopped green peppers

1jalapeno pepper, seeded and hopped

1garlic clove minced
-
1 tbsbeef bouillon granules
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 lbground beef, cooked and drained

2-2 1/2cups milk, divided
-
8 ozyour choice cheese, grated or cubed

3 tbsflour
-
1/2 lbbacon, fried and crumbled
How To Make spicy cheeseburger soup

1In large saucepan, combine the first 9 ingredients, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, till potatoes are tender.

2Stir in beef and 2 cups milk. Heat through. Combine flour and remaining milk till smooth. Gradually stir into soup.

3Bring to a boil, cook and stir till thick and bubbly. Reduce heat, stir in cheese till melted. Add cayenne if desired. Top with bacon just before serving.
