1 lbground beef

2refrigerated pie crust

3/4 cgreen onions, chopped

2 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1 canblack beans, rinsed and drained

1 cankidney beans, rinsed and drained

1/4 tsppepper

1 tspsalt

1 tsppaprika
-
1 Tbspchopped parsley

1/4 ccornstarch
-
16 ozpicante sauce
-
1 cansoup, bean and bacon

3garlic cloves, minced

1 canolives, drained
How To Make spicy beef and bean pie

1In a skillet, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned; drain.

2In a large bowl, combine soup, 1 cup of picante sauce, cornstarch, parsley, paprika, salt and pepper; mix well.

3Fold in beans, 1 1/4 cups of cheese, 1/2 cup onions and the beef mixture.

4Line pie plate with bottom pastry; fill with bean mixture. Top with remaining pastry; seal and flute edges.

5Cut slits in the top crust.

6Bake at 425 for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned.

7Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.

8Garnish with sour cream, olives and remaining picante sauce, cheese and onions.
