1/4 cfresh cilantro, chopped

3 Tbspfresh lime juice

1 Tbspextra-virgin olive oil

1/2 tspkosher salt

1/4 tspground red pepper
- STEAK:

1 tspgarlic powder
-
2 tspground cumin
-
2 tsppaprika
-
1 tspchipotle chile powder

3/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper

1/2 tspkosher salt
-
1/2 tspground cinnamon
-
1 1/2 lbflank steak, trimmed

1 Tbspextra-virgin olive oil

How To Make spice-rubbed flank steak with fresh salsa

1Preheat grill to high heat.

2To prepare salsa, combine the first 7 ingredients in a bowl.

3To prepare steak, combine the garlic powder and the next 6 ingredients (through cinnamon). Brush both sides of the steak with olive oil, and sprinkle with the spice mixture.

4Place the steak on a grill rack coated with cooking spray, and grill 4 minutes on each side or until it reaches the desired degree of doneness. Let stand for 5 minutes.

5Cook the steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices. Serve with salsa.
