My mother made these when I was young but she would use only one biscuit and fold it over like a crescent, when I made them for my boys I would use 2 biscuits and pinch the edges with a fork, they loved them and called them Space Ships, the name stuck.

Ingredients For space ships

1 canrefrigerated biscuits

1 lbhamburger

chopped onion, if desired

taco seasoning if desired to taste
How To Make space ships

1Fry 1 lb hamburger loosely until no longer pink (If using onion chop onion and add while frying until onion is clear)drain well and set aside. You can also sprinkle on a little taco seasoning while frying the hamburger.

2open one can (8 count) of refrigerated biscuits take each biscuit and roll out into a flat circle spoon 2 T of the cooked hamburger in the middle, you may add a 1/2 slice of cheese if desired,roll out a second biscuit and place over the top of the first biscuit,using fork press edges together transfer to a cookie sheet, repeat with the remaining hamburger and biscuits, bake according to the biscuit directions. My boys just picked them up like a sandwich.
