Ingredients For sour kraus party dish

  • 2 sticks salted butter, 1/2 lb thin sliced bacon cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1 medium to large vidalia onions or sweet onions cut into large pieces, 2 lbs silver floss sour kraus rinsed lightly
  • 1- 12 ox box porabella mushrooms coarsely chopped, 1-12 oz box of no yoke egg noodles, cook as directed.
  • 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp of italian seasoning
  • 2- 12 oz hillshire farms beef kielbasa sliced thin and halved. (or kielbasa of your choice)

How To Make sour kraus party dish

    In large skillet add 1 tab butter and bacon, cook until almost crispy. Add onion and 2 tabs of butter, continue cooking until onions are translucent. Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender. Add Oregano and Italian seasoning, mix together.

    Remove ingredients from stove and place in large mixing bowl. Return skillet to stove and add 2 tabs of butter and sour Kraus, cook until browned, turning as needed. Add sour Kraus to mixing bowl and combine ingredients. Return skillet to stove and add 2 tabs of butter and kielbasa, cooked until golden brown. Add to mixing bowl.

    Cook egg noodles as instructed on package, drain and add to mixing bowl, add remaining butter to mixture in bowl and stir together. Salt to tast
