I adopted this recipe because I liked the basic idea. Then I added some ingredients and changed the cooking method. I think I have now developed a recipe that produces a savory, juicy burger for those times when only a big 'ol burger will do! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Ingredients For savory sour cream burgers

3/4 lblean ground beef

1/4 csour cream

2 Tbspgreen onion,thinly sliced

1/4 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspgarlic powder

1/4 cfine dried bread crumbs

salt and pepper, to taste

2hamburger buns
-
4 slicetomato, thinly sliced

2lettuce leaves

additional sour cream, if desired
How To Make savory sour cream burgers

1Stir together sour cream, green onion, cinnamon, garlic powder, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper, to taste. Add ground beef and mix well.

2Shape into two 3/4-inch thick patties. Grill or broil patties to desired level of doneness.

3Hamburger buns should be split, toasted and buttered. Serve patties on toasted buns with tomatoes, lettuce and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
