Ingredients For souper meatloaf

  • about 3 lb
    lean ground chuck
  • 1 md
    onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 can
    tomato soup divided
  • 2 lg
    eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    oats or herbed stuffing
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    parsley flakes

How To Make souper meatloaf

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    In large mixing bowl mix ground chuck, onion, bell pepper, tomato soup (reserving about 1/3 of can for top of meatloaf), eggs, oats (or herbed stuffing), salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and parsley flakes using hands or large spoon mix all ingredients together until incorporated

    pour into 9x13 inch baking pan and shape into loaf pour and spread remaining tomato soup over top of meatloaf

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until no longer pink in the middle when tested let rest about 5 to 10 minutes before serving
