These steaks are really tender , I have mashed potatoes with them and serve the sauce as the gravy.

Ingredients For smothered steak

  • 2 lb
    cube steak , cut into 4 peices
  • flour
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix

How To Make smothered steak

    Dust steaks with flour and place in slow cooker.

    In a small bowl mix mushroom soup and soup mix together and pour over meat.

    Cover and cook on Low setting for 6 to 8 hours.
