Ingredients For slow cooker pot roast

1/4 ccornstarch
-
1 cdry red wine
-
1 cbeef bouillon or broth
-
2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 tsponion powder
-
12 smnew potatoes, quartered

2 Tbsprosemary
-
1 Tbspgarlic, minced or paste

1 1/2-2 lbbeef round roast
-
4 ozseasoned tomato paste

2 cbaby carrots
How To Make slow cooker pot roast

1In 6 quart slow cooker, place beef, seasoned with 1/2 tsp both salt and pepper.

2Mix together with whisk cornstarch, dry red wine, tomato paste, beef broth w/seasonings.

3Place cut-up veggies in the mixture to coat veggies. Then put them over beef already in the crockpot.

4Cover crockpot and cook until beef is fork tender, 7-8 hours on Low setting or 6-7 hours on High setting.

5Place beef on cutting board and thinly slice. Put beef back in with veggies, mix beef with veggies and serve.
