1 cPanko breadcrumbs

1 smyellow onion, finely chopped

1/4 cfreshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving

1/2 tspkosher salt, plus more for seasoning

1/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning

28 ozmarinara sauce

1 cancrushed tomatoes (15 oz)

2 Tbspchopped fresh parsley
How To Make slow cooker meatballs

1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

2Combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper in a large bowl. Gently mix it with your clean hands or a spoon.

3Using a 1 ½ tablespoon-scoop the mixture and shape it into meatballs using your clean hands. Place the meatballs on the baking sheet with a little space between them. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

4Transfer the warm meatballs to a crock pot. Pour the marinara and crushed tomatoes over the meatballs.

5Cover and cook on high for 2 ½ hours or until tender and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
