If you like to use potatoes, add them when you add the carrots and celery. I also eat this with rice, my boyfriend is Puerto Rican so he loves rice.

Ingredients For slow cooker beef stew

  • 2 lb
    beef chuck roast
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1 pkg
    lipton onion mix
  • 1 1/2 c
    baby carrots
  • 1 sm
    celery stalks
  • 3 pkg
    beef bouillon, cubes
  • 1/8 tsp
    black peppercorns, whole
  • 4 c
    water ( to cover meat)

How To Make slow cooker beef stew

  • 1
    Place Beef Chuck Roast in slow cooker, add onion, garlic,lipton onion mix, black pepper,diluted beef bouillon cubes and water.

    After about 3 hours on high, place the carrots and celery in the slow cooker so they dont get to tender.Add salt if need
