Ingredients For slow cooker beef roast

  • 3 - 4 lb
    beef roast, chuck is best
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg
    (envelope) onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c
    red wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 dash
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

How To Make slow cooker beef roast

    Heat oil in pan
  • 2
    Salt and pepper the roast
  • 3
    Sear over high heat on both sides, to seal in juices
  • 4
    Remove from pan and place in slow cooker
  • 5
    Sprinkle the garlic powder over roast
  • 6
    Mix together the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, red wine, and worcestershire sauce
  • 7
    Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours
