1.5 - 2 lbflank steak

1 lgonion, sliced (1/2 inch thickness)

4scallions, sliced diagonally 1" pieces

1 lgcarrot, sliced 1/2" thick

6-8 clovegarlic, roughly chopped

11" piece of ginger, thinly sliced

6 Tbspsoy sauce or tamari
-
3 Tbsprice wine or mirin

2 Tbspsugar

2 Tbsphoney
-
1 Tbspapple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice

1/2asian pear, grated (approximately 3-4 tbsp.)

1 Tbspsesame oil

1 tspsesame seeds
How To Make slow cooker asian flank steak

1Brown both sides of the meat on medium high heat and remove from pan.

2Place sliced onion on bottom of greased slow cooker and place meat on top.

3Add remaining vegetables to the top of the meat. Mix sauce ingredients well and pour over the meat.

4Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4. Slow works best and makes a more tender meat.
