Kind of weird how I came up with this. I love to read and in many a book the characters shared a meal of Shepard pie. This intrigued me so I searched for it and some of the recipes sounded simple and good. I also loved sloppy Joe's but hubby hated eating them since they were so messy. For years I tried to think of a way to have them and not make it so messy. Then one night bingo!!! Now my hubby loves this dish and so do the kids. I just ad libed this so I hope it works for you.

Ingredients For sloppy shepard joe

  • 2 can
    manwich
  • 2 lb
    hamburger cooked
  • 8
    serving of instant mashed potatoes made as directed
  • 1 pkg
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make sloppy shepard joe

    follow directions on Manwich Sloppy Joe's.

    spray or line with foil cassarole dish.

    add Sloppy Joe mix to dish top with mashed potato mix
  • 4
    top with cheese
  • 5
    pop in a 350 degree pre heated oven for about 15 minutes or till cheese is melted and serve
