This recipe has been around my family for, at least, fifty years. In fact, that's how long ago it was when my ex-sister-in-law gave it to me. Who knows how long she'd had it. It easy, requires few ingredents, and it's fast. Enjoy!

Ingredients For sloppy joes-connie style

1 1/2 lbground chuck
-
1green pepper- chopped (can use yellow or orange if you prefer)

1large onion, chopped

1 large pkgportabella or button mushrooms. sliced- we prefer portabellas

1/2 tspsea salt, smoked if you have it

1/4 tsppepper, ground
-
hot sauce to taste
-
1/2 tspworcestershire sauce

2 small cantomato sauce
-
1 pkgfavorite hamburger buns, we like the onion ones

2 clovegarlic, diced
How To Make sloppy joes-connie style

1Saute onions, garlic and green pepper five minutes on medium or till translusent.

2Add sliced mushrooms.

3Add ground chuck and saute 8 minutes on medium.

4Add hot sauce, worchester sauce, salt and pepper.

5Add 2 small cans of tomatoe sauce.

6Cook 15 minutes.

7Serve on your favorite bun.
