My new favorite way to make a burger is in slider form. Out of all the things I can cook, I can’t grill a decent full-size hamburger. Sliders are delish and very quick to make. And I’m all about instant satisfaction, especially when I’m hungry!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

We love grilling sliders in the summertime. You get the same great taste of a regular size hamburger in a smaller, easy to handle form. Amy's sliders are seasoned very well. It doesn't take away from the natural flavor of the beef. Place the sliders on soft Hawaiian sweet rolls and top with your favorite toppings for one easy and fantastic burger.

Ingredients For sliders

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb
    80-20 ground beef
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 pkg
    Hawaiian bread rolls
  • toppings of your choice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc.

How To Make sliders

  • Hamburger meat formed into patties.
    1
Mix ground beef with Worchestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic salt. Form into patties that are thin and bigger than the Hawaiian rolls (80-20 beef will shrink). I used one of those cheap plastic patty forms and made the patty just shy (1/2”) from the edge.
  • Cheese added to grilled hamburgers.
    2
Heat grill on high. Place patties on the grill to sear the first side and turn the heat down to medium. Cook 2-3 minutes, flip and cook another 2-3 minutes until juices run clear. Top with cheese of your liking to melt.
  • Hawaiian roll added to the slider.
    3
Serve with rolls and toppings of your choice (i.e. shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced baby dills, finely sliced sweet onion, etc.).
