Ingredients For sloppy joes

2 lbground beef (90/10)

15 ozno salt added diced tomatoes pureed in blender

1/2 conion, finely diced

1/2 cgreen pepper, finely diced

1/2 cred bell, finely diced

4 tspchili powder
-
1 tspcumin
-
2 tsppaprika
-
4 tspgranulated garlic

1 tspcoarse sea salt

1 tspblack pepper

2 tspworchestshire sauce

4 oztomato paste
-
1 tspbold & spicy mustard

4 Tbspbrown sugar
-
pinch nutmeg
-
1/2 tsplemon juice
How To Make sloppy joes

1Simmer peppers and onions in small amount of olive oil till tender. Add minced, canned diced tomatoes. Add 1 tsp of paprika, cumin, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp granulated garlic, and worcestshire sauce, mix together well, add ground beef.

2Cook on med. high till beef is done, (about 20 min.). Mix together tomato paste, and 1/2 c. of water, brown sugar, nutmeg, salt, pepper, 1 tsp paprika, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp granulated garlic, lemon juice and mustard, mix well. Add to beef and simmer for about 10 min more. Serve on toasted bun.
