This is a wholesome recipe to easily be made in the crock pot for days that are too hot to cook. My family loves carrots, so, it is one of our favorite down home crock pot recipes. And is Full of Pot Roast Flavor.

Ingredients For simple swiss steak in a crock

  • 1 1/2 lb
    round steak
  • 2-4 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 lb
    baby carrots
  • 1 pkg
    lipton onion soup mix
  • 8 oz
    can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make simple swiss steak in a crock

    Cut Steak into 4-5 serving pieces. Dredge in flour.

    Place carrots in bottom of slow cooker or crock pot. Top with steak.

    Combine soup mix, tomato sauce, and water. Pour over all.

    Cover. Cook on Low for 8 - 10 hours. Or according to your slow cooker.

    Excellent with Mashed Potatoes.
