Ingredients For short ribs with marinade

2 lbshort ribs (bone-in or boneless)

1/2 conion, chopped

2 clovegarlic, minced

1 tspfresh ginger, grated

1/2 cpear peeled and chopped (asian or bosc)

2green onions, chopped
-
1/4 csoy sauce or tamari
-
2 Tbsptoasted sesame oil
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
1/4 tspfresh ground black pepper
How To Make short ribs with marinade

1Add onion, garlic and ginger to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add the pear and pulse again until the mixture forms a puree.

2Place the mixture in a bowl and add the scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar and pepper. Mix well.

3Pierce the meat with a fork or make small slits in the meat with a sharp knife to help the marinade penetrate the meat. Pour the marinade over the meat, cover and refrigerate overnight.

4Heat grill to medium-high and grill for 3-4 minutes a side or until the meat is cooked through.
