Ingredients For sherried beef stew

    lean beef, cubed
  • 1 c
    sliced celery
  • 1 c
    sliced carrots
  • 1 c
    sliced onion
  • 1/2
    green pepper, diced
  • 28 oz
    can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    sherry

How To Make sherried beef stew

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in a baking dish, cover and bake at 300 degrees for 5 hours. Thickn gravy, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
