This was always my comfort food as a child but my mom made it with potato flakes, and canned gravy so I thought I would try to upgrade this classic and my husband and I were supremely happy with it. The flavor of the carmelized ketchup pops and brings a great acidity to the dish. Perfect for the upcoming fall.

5 cpotatoes, mashed

1 cancorn
-
1 lbhamburger meat
-
1/8 tsponion powder

1/8 tspgarlic powder

4 Tbspketchup
-
2 cbeef gravy
-
1 Tbspmrs dash- onion and herb mix

1/4 tspsalt and pepper

1 Tbspmccormick worstshire pub burger blend

1yellow onion, diced

beef gravy

1 canpeas
How To Make bbq shepards pie

1Pre-heat oven to 350

2Brown hamburger over medium high heat with spices, herbs, and diced diced onion.

3Add ketchup to hamburger and cook an additional 3-5 min until slightly reduced and carmemelized.

4MAKE MASHED POTATOES

5Make Mashed Potatoes. Dice potatoes, boil in heavily salted water, strain, add butter, salt, and pepper Use mixers to whip potatoes, THEN add your milk, a little bit at a time until desired consistency. Add 2 tablespoons sour cream to pot and whip in with fork.

6Layer seasoned beef mixture on bottom of baking dish

7Add corn peas and 1/4-1/2 of beef gravy.

8Top with Mashed Potatoes

9Bake for 45 min at 350
