I have been making this variation of my mom's chili for many years. It's a mild recipe but you can spice it up to your tastes.

Ingredients For shannon's chili

1 lblean ground beef

1 pkgmccormick chili seasoning mild

1 canranch style beans western style large

1 canrotel mild

1 cwater
How To Make shannon's chili

1Brown ground Beef in large "fryer" Skillet (Deep Sides). *Use lean ground beef for the best result. While beef is cooking, sprinkle package of chili seasonings on meat. Mix well while continuing to brown ground beef.

2Once beef is cooked, add one Large Can of Ranch style Beans (Western Style) *Do not drain* to the beef mixture. Add one can of ROTEL *do not drain*. Add one cup of water. Mix thoroughly. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

3Once Chili has boiled for a few minutes, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for a remaining 30-35 minutes. Stir occasionally. The Chili is then placed on simmer until ready to serve.

4Garnish your bowl with your favorites, cheese, crackers, sour cream, peppers..ENJOY! Feeds about 4 Adults. Chili is always better the next day. Make sure you place in sealed container and refrigerate after cooling.
