My daughter LOVES frozen salsbury steaks, so I decided to make my own & I'm happy to say now if she gets a frozen one she says it's not as good as mommy's.

Ingredients For salsbury steak
- FOR BEEF

1 lbground beef
-
1/2 csaltine cracker crumbs
-
1/2 cangolden mushroom soup,
-
1envelope onion soup mix

1egg beaten
- FOR GRAVY
-
1/2 canwater
-
1 jarsavory beef gravy
-
1/2 cangolden mushroom soup, (rest of can from patties)
-
1-8 oz canmushrooms
-
2 dashworcestershire sauce
-
1/4 tsppepper
How To Make salsbury steak

1Combine ingredients for patties in bowl. Mix well and form into 4 good size oval patties. Brown patties on both sides. Don't cook all the way through as they will continue to cook in the gravy.

2Combine the gravy ingredients in a bowl and pour over patties. Gently lift the patties to let some of the gravy get under the patties. Cover and reduce heat to med/low and let simmer in gravy for 20-30 minutes.

3Serve with Mashed potatoes & veggie of choice.
