Ingredients For salisbury steak in mushroom broth

1 lbground beef

1/3 citalian bread crumbs

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1egg

1large onion,sliced and separated into rings

1 cancondensed beef broth

1 cansliced mushrooms
-
2 Tbspcold water

2 tspcornstarch
How To Make salisbury steak in mushroom broth

1Mix beef,bread crumbs,salt,pepper and egg.Shape into 4 patties,each about 3/4 thick.

2Cook patties in skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes,turning occasionally,until brown.drain.

3Add onion,broth and mushrooms.Heat to boiling,reduce heat.Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until beef is done.

4Remove patties;keep warm. Heat onion mixture to boiling. Mix water and cornstarch.Stir into onion mixture.Boil and stir 1 minute.Serve over patties.
