Ingredients For salisbury steak

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 c
    bread crumbs or crackers
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 pkg
    aujus sauce (prepare according to package)
  • 1 pkg
    beef gravy (prepare according to package)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How To Make salisbury steak

  • 1
    Mix together ground beef, onions, crackers, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 Salisbury Steaks. Place into a casserole or skillet.(See cooking time below.) Combine AuJus and Beef Gravy mixes per package. Pour over steaks and cook as follows.

    If baking, bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Pan cooking, cook medium heat for 30 minutes.
