I found this recipe in a old cookbook. It is one that I use often and I know my family loves it.

Ingredients For salisbury steak

1 cangolden mushroom soup
-
1 1/2 lbground beef
-
1/2 cbread crumbs
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/8 tsppepper
-
1onion, chopped
-
1egg, beaten
-
1/3 cwater
How To Make salisbury steak

1Heat Oven to 350 F. In medium bow, combine 1/4 of the soup mixture with the remaining ingredients except the water; mix well. Shape into 6 patties; arrange in a single layer in a 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Skim off fat. In small bowl, combine remaining soup and water, spoon over patties. Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes.
