Ingredients For salibury steak with onion gravy

  • one can condensed onion soup
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • one egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard

How To Make salibury steak with onion gravy

  • 1
    mix one third cup of the soup with beef, crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into six oval patties. Brown the patties in the skillet. Pour off the fat.

    In medium bowl, gradually blend the rest of the soup in the flour till smooth. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour this mixture over the patties and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir the mixture around the patties now and then.
