While looking through an old cookbook of mine, I ran across this recipe. For some reason it caught my eye and it seems like an interesting way to prepare a roast. I have not made it but wanted to share.

Ingredients For roast

  • 3 lb
    roast (or larger)
  • 1 can
    celery soup
  • 1 can
    mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    7 up
  • 1 pkg
    onion soup mix

How To Make roast

  • 1
    Cut roast into bite size pieces.
  • 2
    Mix roast and other ingredients all together.
  • 3
    Wrap in foil as tightly as you can and place in roaster and cover.

    Bake at 300 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Do Not Open while baking. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
