Ingredients For roast beef sandwich bomb

  • 3-4 lb
    rump roast
  • 2 c
    water
  • 15 oz
    tomatoe sauce
  • 1
    onion,chopped
  • 2
    green peppers, chopped
  • 2 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    anise seed
  • french bread loaf
  • 1 pkg
    pepper jack cheese

How To Make roast beef sandwich bomb

    Cover and bake the beef in a 350 oven until done. This is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    In a crock pot add: water, sauce, onion, green pepper and spices. The Anise seed is the secret to this recipe.

    When the beef is done, slice and add to the sauce in the crockpot. Simmer the beef in the crockpot about 2 hours.

    Assemble the crockpot ingredients with a large slotted spoon, onto a six inch sliced portion of the french bread. Top with pepper jack cheese. Be sure to put some au jus on the top! Slightly toast if you like. Enjoy!
