Oh My Goodness! This maybe Ree's Favorite Meatloaf; 'The Pioneer Woman' but I now have claimed it to be mine also! Wow! What a meatloaf..I can't say enough about it. I'll tell you what, In my house this is the recipe of the year. I am not kidding. It makes 2 fantastic loaves. When I make it - which will be very soon, I WILL post a picture. I always give one loaf to my son or my daughter, Leslie. The last time I gave Mark one for his family's dinner; his wife, Jen called me and said "Your son is in a meatloaf coma".True story and that's the way it goes. **I am borrowing Rees pictures for now

How To Make ree's favorite meatloaf
-
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour milk over the bread slices. Allow it to soak in for several minutes.
-
2Place the ground beef, milk-soaked bread, Parmesan, seasoned salt, salt, black pepper, and parsley in a large mixing bowl. Pour in beaten eggs.
-
3With clean hands, mix the ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into a loaf shape on a broiler pan, which will allow the fat to drain. (Line the bottom of the pan with foil to avoid a big mess!)
-
4Lay bacon slices over the top, tucking them underneath the meatloaf.
-
5Make the sauce: add ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and hot sauce in a mixing bowl. Stir together. Pour 1/3 of the mixture over the top of the bacon. Spread with a spoon.
-
6Bake for 45 minutes, then pour another 1/3 of the sauce over the top. Bake for another 15 minutes. Slice and serve with remaining sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes. My mouth is so watering right now. **It's the sauce folks!
