This recipe originated from an old Navy Wives cookbook that my mother use to own. It was originally called GreenBean Casserole - but I changed the name because it is nothing like the one you make at Thanksgiving. This is one pot comfort food at it's best - my family loves it!

Ingredients For redneck shepard's pie

1 lbhamburger meat - browned and drained

1 cancut green beans drained

1 cancondensed tomato soup

dashsalt and pepper to taste

2 Tbspworchestshire sauce

4 chot instant mashed potatoes

1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded (optional)
How To Make redneck shepard's pie

1Brown Hamburger and drain. In same pot add drained green beans and tomato soup - stir to combine. Add Salt & pepper and worchestshire sauce and cook on medium temp for about 10-15 minutes, until green beans are cooked and softened.

2While cooking down meat mixture make 4 cups of instant mashed potatoes according to box directions.

3Turn the meat mixture into a medium sized casserole dish. Top meat mixture with mounds of instant potatoes and spread to sides to seal. Top with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.

4Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Let it stand 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
