This is one easy, easy, WONDERFUL recipe. I don't remember where I got it, but I have shared it with a chef. He tried it and said it quickly became a favorite.

Ingredients For pot roast to die for!

  • 1 md
    beef roast (my favorite is chuck roast)
  • 1 pkg
    dry brown gravy mix
  • 1 pkg
    hidden valley ranch dressing mix
  • 1 pkg
    italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make pot roast to die for!

    Place roast in the bottom of slow cooker.

    Sprinkle with gravy, Hidden Valley mix and Italian salad dressing mix. Pour water (can add up to 1 cup, if desired) over the meat and seasonings.

    Cook on slow for 3 1/2 to 4 hrs, until meat is tender, but not falling apart. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy. YUM!
